As a child I never travail how important that statement my father made was to my life. Growing up I was the youngest child. I had an sr. comrade that was three days aged(a) than me, Cody. Cody has a love and a passion for the diversion of baseball. I cant even begin to look forward to the endless tournaments, scrimmages, and practices Ive been to over th e years. I looked up to my older brother, and just like him I destinyed to be a great baseball player. I would practice with my Dad and brother all the time. In the backyard we would play catch and practice bat for hours and hours on end. I call in one day very vividly that I wanted to carry up on my inhalation of being a baseball player when, kind of of surprise the ball with my glove, it slammed right into my left eye. I cried and cried and told my pop that I was done with baseball. My father wouldnt hear it; he told me that I couldnt quit just because of one injury. I remember him putting his hand on my cheek as I looked up at him with tears in my eyes. He looked at my big blue eyes and told me that I couldnt expire up just because of one mistake. My father refused to let me give up on something that I desired to do. Thats a lesson that helped me to understand just what he meant when he tell I could achieve anything by setting my mind to it.
